By downloading, installing, or using CALIQ ("the app", "we", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 17 years old to use CALIQ. By using the app you confirm that you meet this age requirement. The app is not directed at children.
CALIQ is a fitness and calorie-tracking tool. Nothing in the app is medical, nutritional, or clinical advice. Calorie estimates from photos and AI coaching responses are approximations and may be wrong. Do not rely on CALIQ for decisions about medical conditions, medications, eating disorders, or pregnancy. Consult a qualified professional before changing your diet, exercise, or medication.
You are responsible for all activity under your account, including keeping your password secure. You agree to provide accurate information during signup and to not impersonate others or share credentials.

CALIQ may offer premium ("Pro") features via Apple in-app purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically through your Apple ID and can be cancelled in your iOS Settings at any time. Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard refund policy. We are not able to issue refunds directly for App Store purchases.

Your use of these services through CALIQ is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for outages, data loss, or behavior of third parties.
See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data. Key points: your meal, weight, and goal data live primarily on your device. Account credentials are handled by Supabase. Photos sent for calorie analysis are not retained by CALIQ.
The CALIQ name, logo, UI design, and code are our property. These terms do not grant you any right to use our branding outside the app itself.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time if you breach these terms, abuse the service, or for security reasons. You may stop using CALIQ at any time and delete your account via Settings → Sign out and account deletion.
CALIQ is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CALIQ and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim (which may be $0 for free users).
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the date at the top and, where practical, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
